ADELSÖ

Adelsö during the Viking Age

During the Viking Age, just over 1,000 years ago, the water was at least 5 meters higher on land. Adelsö was then a divided island and Hovgården and the old Hovgårdsberg were located on the southern tip of the island.

We do not know what today's Lindby was called.
