Facts:
Granite runestone.
Size: 2.10 x 0.9 meters
The runestone is found in the SE part of a burial field and
has its image surface facing NW.

With Roger Wikell and Jujja in the fall of
2014

Almost at the runestone with dense
undergrowth that preserves moisture and produces more lichen
and moss on the runestones.

A larger Viking Age burial ground (a
family's grave hill) is located on the slope behind the
camera.
In the burial field there are about 30 graves
from the Viking Age, including a large mound 15 meters in
diameter, one meter high. There are also about 26 round
stone settings and a magical trident.
The runestone U 22 is found here as part of
the burial field and those who erected the runestone, Ulv,
Vikel and Syrkel, most likely have their father in one of
these graves.
