Runic inscription:
Holmger and Umrfi let · stain (erect) after their mother
u... and... ...u · siua
(The shape of the runes below are exactly copied)

Facts:
Size: 270 x 205 cm.
Granite of inferior quality,
veined and weathered.
The surface is badly worn and the carving unclear from years
of trampling by shoes when it was used as a threshold into
the armory.

History
In the 17th century, the runestone
was located outside the armory door.
When the armory was demolished around 1800, the runestone
had long since disappeared.
During a restoration in 1935,
it was found again in the exact place where it had
previously been, in front of the entrance to the now
demolished armory.
New details have been found!
During evening photography in June 2018, it
was possible to distinguish a dragon's head in the lower
right corner of the stone with the help of the shadow from
side light :-)

And there are more details to discover
with the help of shadows from side lights.
