Runecarver
:

Ärnfast

One of Ärnfast's earliest rune carvings, perhaps his first. Ärnfast may even be from the farm here in Viking-age Edeby?

The carving is in a shady location to the west where lichen and moss thrive.
In 2011 it was cleaned and painted, but just a few years later it was overgrown again.

Lovö hembygdsförening (Lovö local history association) has had a nice sign made with information about the place and with a good illustration by Ulf Ragnarsson.
